RSKL Medical First-Aid Training-2014
RSKL industrial nurse with the co-operation from Safety, Health &
Environmental (SHE) office organized yearly medical first-aid training to medical
first-aid team as part of their preparation for emergency situation at workplace.
Purpose of this training is to upgrade skills and competencies of medical first-aid
team so that they are always ready to face emergency situation.
A total of 51 employees had been selected from various department,
manufacturing processes covering 3 shifts attended 1 hour first-aid training on
treatment for injury with bleeding, fracture, save-amputated body, shock, poisoning,
burns, heart attack, epilepsy, choking (food/foreign object) and perform cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR).
