The generosity of Malaysians and the selflessness of relief teams, both local and abroad, is one of the reason for us to be proud of Malaysia.

RENESAS Semiconductor KL Human Resources & Administration Department officer, Roger Khong Soon Fatt handed a cheque of RM20,425 on behalf of the staff.

RSKL employees managed to collect the amount in just four days with the company matching the sum that was pledged.” We sent e-mails and put up notices to inform our staff of the fundraise” said Khong.

“ Donation boxes were placed at all the department and even at the cafeteria,” he said after handling over the cheque to The Star’s communication Assistant Manager, Azura Annuar.
